As an avid cyclist, I’ve always thought of riding or racing a bike as a metaphor for business. So, I wanted a company name that related to cycling and one that conjured up the image of never stopping, never letting up, and always moving forward. Thus the name Pedal Faster.

Whether you’re running a business or cycling, you have to constantly be going in a forward direction, and you need to build momentum. If you don’t, you’ll inevitably fall behind.

Both activities take a great deal of willpower and endurance, and a bike route, like the path of a business, is undulating. There are many small and large hills to climb and long straight roads with varied obstacles to avoid.

Sometimes though, it is necessary to have an impartial observer or coach to help you improve the way you’re riding or improve how your company is performing. And, that’s where Pedal Faster plays a part.
